I was terrified when I 1st heard my workplace required wearing safety shoes b/c 6 years ago, another dept, already tried wearing them. A pair I got at Mark's( Pair #1) Hurts. Gave up after 3 wks.
This time coworkers said go to Mister Safety Shoes/MSS.
Tried (Pair #2) Reebok Sublite. Too narrow. Tried Moxie Trades.( Pair #3) Wider but not right.
Tried ( Pair #4 ) Reebok DMX. Seemed right at first but hurts.
I went back to Kennedy Commons. Rep Debbie Ann asked me a million questions about the shoes, my walking how my feet felt. She wouldn't give up. Thankfully, she didn't.
BECAUSE:
I tried Terra Pacer 2.0.
Size 8 shoe is what I normally wear. So, I tried size 8. ( Pair #5 ) It was way too big because Terra's sizes are big.
Finally: Terra Pacer 2.0 ( Pair #6 )
Original insoles removed. Put in Mega Comfort Personal Anti-Fatigue Mat Insoles ( as recommended by MSS)
This is The One! For me, anyways.
I now work and my feet actually feels better than when I was wearing running shoes. Crazy, huh?!
If you are wearing safety shoes that hurt, I understand. I've been there. I remember the pain from 2014. I remember the pain from 2019. BUT, if you are still wearing safety shoes that HURT your feet ( and thus, your knees, your lower back, and your whole body ), then you haven't found The Ones.
Keep looking, keep trying, go to MSS, and try different shoes, different sizes. Keep looking for The One!
You are worth it. Your feet will thank you.
Don't give up! :)
